Tom has been my coach for some time now, and the time, effort and care that goes into his programming and feedback cannot be faulted.

Pre-lockdown, my goal was to build strength in my deadlift, squat and bench. Unfortunately, gyms closed due to COVID-19, but nonetheless, a final gym session saw me hit personal bests in all 3 despite the programme having to be cut short after a mere 6 weeks. To hit my goal of a 100kg squat and add a fair few kilos to my other lifts in such a short period of time is a demonstration and credit to Tom's coaching and the care he puts into the planning.

He's a coach who focusses on building solid foundations - technique, moving well, evening out imbalances - things than many coaches overlook. Even during lockdown, Tom adapted and delivered daily home workouts that still contained the same level of detail and personalisation, despite me only having a pair of dumbbells and a few resistance bands to hand.

Highly recommend. If you're going with any other coach then you're doing it wrong!

Since I started training with Tom I have trebled my strength and gone from xtra large t-shirts to medium. If you're looking to get in shape, there are plenty of great trainers to choose from and Tom is one of them. If, however, you want to learn about what will make you fit and healthy in a sustainable way for life and not just for a few months....if you want to gain confidence and belief in yourself...if you want to be motivated to get to the gym when it's just really, really hard...if you want a trainer who knows an extraordinary amount about fitness and still researches ways to help you improve...and if you want to smile and laugh as you lift weights you never thought possible...pick Tom. Starting training with Tom was one the best decisions I've made! I really wanted to improve my fitness and get rid of my back pain that I had been suffering with for many years. Tom has helped me to become stronger, and fitter which has resulted in much less back pain in 4 months! Additionally, I was daunted to walk into a gym myself and work out how everything worked, and what I'd even do when I got there. With Tom's training sessions he shows me how to use everything correctly and efficiently and his plans keep me going when I don't have a session with him; although he's always at the gym so you can always ask quick questions. Working with Tom on my fitness as well as injury rehabilitation has been great. He has been nothing but encouraging and supportive of all aspects of my well being not just my muscles. Our sessions are always hard work but always with an element of fun, enjoyment being the key driver. When I thought I couldn’t do something I was never allowed to give in, it was broken down to help me manage it, which always meant that without realising it, I would achieve what I believed to be impossible. No shouting, no humiliation just pure encouragement and belief.

The faith Tom had in me in initial rehab stages for a shoulder injury I had sustained has been fantastic. Now being able to do 10 shoulder pushes in a row with a 12kg Kettlebell! I can’t recommend Tom enough, he goes the extra mile with text messages or Instragram posts throughout the week to motivate you, cropping up just when you need it.

I cannot recommend training with Tom enough - I've really seen the results, not just in my physique but confidence in the gym since training with him. He's very patient, knowledgeable and friendly.
